2 months old!! WOW!

Rowan was 2 months old yesterday. :) It's flying by, but I know it will be more fun as the days go by, too!!! He gets his shots today & I'm terrified. :( Hopefully he won't cry for long!!!! He's so sweet...and smiles a good bit these days!!! I love seeing him doing new things and definitely get pictures of absolutely everything...one day he'll be thankful for that!!! He wakes up once a night most nights and hopefully will be snoozing right through within the next few weeks. I go back to work on Dec. 1st and he will be staying with my Mom, A.K.A. Nana :) He will definitely be spoiled!! I have never imagined loving someone this much...although, I thought I couldn't love beyond my wonderful husband. Houston is such a great Daddy...as soon as he gets home in the evenings he spends time with Rowan and you can tell he is STILL on cloud 9!!! We are blessed to have such a healthy son and such fabulous people to share him with! He will have more Aunts and Uncles than anyone I know! :)

6 weeks old!!! :)

Rowan is 6 weeks old today!!! Wow, how time flies!!! He is absolutely wonderful...even at 3 a.m. :)

ROWAN IS HERE!!!! :)

Rowan Bryant Blackwood arrived on August 26, 09 at 1:08 P.M. :) He was 7lb3oz and 20 inches long! :) We are so excited he is finally here!!! :) Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we settle into parenthood.

Our little one...

isn't ready! :) I haven't dilated anymore. Dr. says my dizziness is normal for this far in my pregnancy as long as it's not too extreme. And, I'm having contractions, just not enough to do anything. So...Rowan's doing great, just not ready, which is okay! 13 days or less he will be here! Dr. did say he wouldn't let me go past my due date!!! :) I'm getting so excited!!! :)

I go to the Dr. tomorrow instead of Thursday this week. Had some funny feelings today at work...so, I decided to go ahead and see him early. Pray for us...thanks!

So, we went to the Dr. again yesterday and I'm 1cm dilated and completely thinned, so he thinks Rowan will come on his own and labor will be much easier that way. I'm sure he's right, but I'm pretty anxious!! :) Our next appt. is next Thursday! :) I'm growing like CRAZY!!! Or, he is!!! :)

Update! :)

Yesterday, My Mom and I went to my 36 week appointment. School has started back for Houston, so she's going with me from now on. :) I had my last ultrasound and Rowan is positioned perfectly and he weighs approx. 6 lbs. 9 oz. :) He's pretty big so far!! His little cheeks are too cute!!! So, then we saw the Dr. He stated I am 90% thinned (no dilation, though) and will definitely NOT be pregnant on my due date. He also said the if I hadn't had Rowan by next Wednesday at my next appt. we can look at being induced!!! I am getting so excited & we are so ready for him to be here!!! :) YAY!!!
