11 weeks and 2 days left! :)

I am getting so stinking excited! :) Not nervous YET! I'm sure that will come, though! Houston and I went Monday night and toured Huntsville Hospital and we really were pleased with it!It was really clean and the staff were so friendly! :) It made us much more comfortable with everything! :) Rowan has been moving lots lately! I can actually feel where he is in my tummy! It's really amazing! I am so ready for him to get here,but know I'll be sad without having him in my tummy! :) Houston talks to him a lot. Mainly while we are lying in bed at night. He's definitely going to be a great Dad!

I don't think I've written about the Annual beach trip, but it was a blast!!! I actually stayed up until past 4 a.m. once! :) I have the best friends!!!! Rowan will have the best Aunts! :) I'm attaching a pic! :)

26 weeks! :)

Well...we have 3 1/2 months left and I'm getting more and more excited!!!! We went to the Dr. Tuesday and I'm pretty sure we are going to have ourselves a wild child! He wouldn't even be still to let us hear the heartbeat...the Dr. would say,"Here it is...and there he goes." He also told us that most children, in his opinion, have started developing a personality by this point and said his children were always very still and calm througout pregnancy, meaning our kid was obviously going to be bouncing off the walls. :) Which makes me happy! Haha...it's just so exciting and learning more and more about him is great! I go in 2 weeks for my glucose tolerance test and in 4 weeks for our 4D! We got our glider in yesterday and I love it! :)

P.S. Please keep my Mother in your prayers as well. She has a biopsy next week and is extremely nervous/scared. Her Dr. told her 80% of biopsies come out okay, so I think she will do fine. Just please remember her. :)

Lately...

I'm now 24 weeks and 3 days pregnant, which is crazy! :) I can't believe how fast it has flown! Rowan is kicking A LOT! More at night, but some during the day, too! It's the coolest thing ever! Houston and I are getting SO excited! My dad is painting the nursery letters for us, so maybe that will brighten things up in there a little bit. I've been looking for a lamp also for the nursery...I can't really find one that I like. And, we need a glider, still. :) Those are the big things. :) I am growing like a weed. SERIOUSLY. This week (I work in a Nursing Home) is national Nursing Home week and we've been having silly little games and such around work and one was to guess mine & one other girls waist size. Well, I had no clue what mine was. Of course...who knows that? Well, anywho, she had to measure me to see who guessed closest and lets just say that NO, I'm not that big right now, but to still have 14 weeks to go, I AM GOING TO BE A HIPPO! :) Which is okay, because I do have a reason, but it still scares me a little. Also, a little resident at work called me "Fattie" :) And, told me I was having twins or one "big one." Haha! It's hilarious! But, everything is going great! Houston and I went to the beach last weekend for a short trip and it was great. I love traveling with him! Speaking of Houston, he's been fabulous through everything...the pregnancy, losing Charmin, etc. Every night before falling asleep he tells me to be sure to wake him if I need ANYTHING at all. He better be careful, because I just may wake him for the smallest thing on a real lazy night. :) I'm doing okay re: Charmin. I miss her so much, but with time it has gotten easier. Life around her is much different without her because she was my energy dog. :) The others are lazy, but great, too! I guess that's all for now! I'm glad tomorrow is Friday...I'm ready for the weekend!

Losing Charmin. :(

Well, most of my friends know Houston and I have had Charmin since July 2006. She was our first child. :) She was a blessing and we definitely have MANY fabulous memories of and with her! :) Last night Houston and I were leaving the house and she ran under his truck and we accidentally ran over her. It was extremely traumatic...we took her to the vet right away and he took xrays for us. Her back left leg was broken in many spots so we were planning to amputate today if she showed any movement in her other back leg...just so we would know she could use the other one. The vet tried many times to get her to move her other leg, but she did not have any nerve feelings in the back area of her body and there were no solutions to any of her problems, so we had to have her put to sleep. Today has been horrible, but I have to remember there is a reason for everything. I sure will miss her sleeping with us...she was one of the best pets I have ever had. We will have her cremated tomorrow and will have her in a beautiful urn. :) Thank you for all of the prayers and love. I am blessed to have such supportive people in my life. Thank you God for giving me the chance to have Charmin in my life! :) And for giving Houston and I the strength to go on without her.

Moving around! :)

Well, I've been a little concerned because I've read in all of the baby books that you will most likely begin to feel movement from your little one around 17 weeks or so, but I definitely have not. UNTIL...last night!!! At 20 weeks and 1 day along and felt Rowan moving around for the first time!!! It was the coolest thing EVER!!! I think he was kicking me...probably trying to get his Daddy to turn the tv off. :) Houston loved it!!! We just sat there feeling it kick/punch us!!! Anywho...thought I would tell everyone that!!! We were so stinking excited!! My next appt. is April 27th, which will probably be just a boring one, but the one after that in May should be our neat 4d one! YAY! I get to see Aubrey and some of her family this weekend, so hopefully he will kick for them! :) She will love it!! Haha...will update later!
